Mu Shu-style Chicken

2 ½ lbs chicken meat
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
½ cup water
¼ cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground ginger
8  8in flour tortillas
½ cup hoisin sauce
2 cups packaged shredded broccoli (broccoli slaw mix) or shredded cabbage with carrot

1.     Place chicken in slow cooker.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  In a small bowl mix water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger.  Pour over chicken in cooker.  Cover; cook on low for 6-7 hours.
2.     Remove chicken and reserve cooking liquid.  Shred chicken and return chicken to slow cooker. 
3.     To serve spoon shredded chicken onto tortillas, top with slaw mixture and hoisin sauce.  Roll tortillas.
